About CLEARED

The purpose of CLEARED, Inc. is to assist the U.P. School of Labor and Industrial Relations (U.P. SOLAIR) in the realization of its mission to promote labor empowerment and an enlightened industrial relations system, through the conduct of relevant and timely research, training, community service and other related programs.

The Foundation shall aim to realize and engage in the following activities:

To conduct, sponsor, undertake seminars, training programs and conferences in the field of industrial relations;
To initiate, sponsor, support, promote assist or conduct basic and applied research and development programs and projects in the field of industrial relations and labor relations;
To publish, and distribute or cause to be published or distribute without profit, the research output or projects and research programs;
To provide scholarship for the members of the Foundation as well as academic and administrative staff of the U.P. SOLAIR;
To promote and provide consultancy, technical assistance and service to government, private institutions, and workers/employers' organizations;
To assist in strengthening the library, and upgrading of the facilities of U.P. SOLAIR;
To grant scholarships and professional chairs in labor and industrial relations to deserving individuals, including members of the Foundation;
To receive, manage and disburse any funds, donations, contributions, gifts and endowments in cash, assets and resources from governmental and non-governmental sources, local or foreign, entrusted, donated, endowed or given to the Foundation;
To enter into contract and execute with any persons, corporations, partnerships, or associations, governmental or otherwise, any management contract, trust agreement or any lawful agreement for the management and/or investment of funds of the Foundation;
To undertake such other activities and projects as are necessary for the attainment of the objectives and purposes of the Foundation.
